The First Merseyside Social Enterprise Awards

The Social Enterprise Movement on Merseyside was honored and celebrated last night at a glittering awards ceremony. The event, held at Liverpool Town Hall, was organised by the Social Enterprise Network (SEN),
It was the first ever Merseyside Social Enterprise Awards, and is set to become a permanent fixture in the Social Enterprise calendar.The event honoured the leading local social enterprises that are successful viable businesses making a real economic, social or environmental difference in their communities.
The shortlisted entrants were selected by an independent judging panel, including: Liverpool City Council Cabinet Member for Employment and Skills Councillor Nick Small; Andy Wright from Hill Dickinson; David Neilson, Chief Executive of Fusion21 and Councillor Gary Millar.
