It was the first ever Merseyside Social Enterprise Awards, and is set to become a permanent fixture in the Social Enterprise calendar.

The event honoured the leading local social enterprises that are successful viable businesses making a real economic, social or environmental difference in their communities.

The shortlisted entrants were selected by an independent judging panel, including: Liverpool City Council Cabinet Member for Employment and Skills Councillor Nick Small; Andy Wright from Hill Dickinson; David Neilson, Chief Executive of Fusion21 and Councillor Gary Millar.

Talent Match Lead Partner

MEH are pleased to announce that following the selection panel last week Merseyside Youth Association have been selected as the prospective Lead Partner for the Liverpool City Region talent Match programme.

We would like to congratulate MYA and also thank the other organisations for their applications and presentations.

We would also like to especially thank the panel members who gave their time to be part of the decision making process. .

We have received many delivery partner expressions of interest and will be working closely with MYA over the next few weeks to develop the prospectus to ensure that the Liverpool City Region maximises the potential of this opportunity.

Welcome to our new website, which has been under reconstruction recently, we are excited about our new look website with lots of new functions to help get our message across local and European communities, about social inclusion one of our core values.
