on Promoting the Concepts and Ideas of Active European Citizenship
in the Framework of the European Year of Citizens 2013

"CSV & Volonteurope in cooperation with E.N.T.E.R. - European Network for Transfer and Exploitation of EU Project Results, has the pleasure of inviting you to the European Conference “YOURopa – Promoting the Concepts and Ideas of Active European Citizenship in the Framework of the European Year of Citizens 2013”


Topic and objectives :  The European Commission has declared 2013 as the European Year of Citizens. During this thematic year particular emphasis will be placed on the opportunities of citizens in society. The “YOURopa” Conference will provide an ideal platform for target groups and stakeholders to discuss not only important topics regarding active European citizenship, but also to gain information about 30 selected good practice projects promoting different citizenship aspects.


Target groups :  Active citizens, volunteers, civil society organisations, policy-makers, Institutional representatives, media and other stakeholders interested in the concepts of Active European Citizenship.


Working methods : Through thematic workshops and keynote speeches, different aspects of Active European Citizenship will be debated with a Europe-wide audience. The event will include a project fair, showcasing the outstanding achievements of 30 unique EU-funded projects, which promote Active European Citizenship. Networking and partnership-building opportunities will be promoted throughout the course of this major European event, delivered in the framework of the European Year of Citizens 2013.
